DR. JASON KARP SIGNS BOOK DEAL FOR WOMEN’S RUNNING BIBLEWITH HUMAN KINETICS
San Diego, CA – Jason Karp, Ph.D., of RunCoachJason.com and founder and coach of REVO2LT Running Team™ signed a deal this week with the publisher Human Kinetics to write Women’s Running Bible, a book on training female runners throughout their lifespan. He will coauthor the book with elite ultramarathoner Carolyn Smith, M.D.,executive director and chief health officer of student health services at Marquette University and head medical team physician for Marquette’s department of intercollegiate athletics. The book will be published in late 2012.
“I’m very excited about this book and that it will be published by such an esteemed publisher as Human Kinetics,” said Dr. Jason Karp, who is represented by literary agent Grace Freedson of Grace Freedson’s Publishing Network, LLC in New York. “What began as an idea about training female runners based on their menstrual cycle has grown intosomething that every female runner will benefit from, whether she is 15 or 85.
