TWO THIRD PLACE FINISHES FOR RUNCOACHJASON.COM ATHLETES
Manchester, CT – Sean Mueller, a member of REVO2LT Running Team™ and a junior at Cheshire High School in Cheshire, Connecticut, took third place at the Connecticut State Cross Country Championships on November 6 in Wickham Park. Sean raced the 5-kilometer course in 16:00, 27 seconds faster than he ran at last year’s state championships on the same course. His performance earned him All-State honors.
“Sean just keeps getting better,” said his coach, Dr. Jason Karp of RunCoachJason.com, who has been coaching Sean for nearly two years. “We’ve been taking an aerobic approach to his training; he hasn’t even done much speedwork yet. I can’t wait to see what he does as a senior.”
Sean Mueller runs the New England Cross Country Championships on November 14 at Wickham Park, followed by the Footlocker Northeast Regional Championships on November 28 at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, Long Island.

Logan, UT – Another member of REVO2LT Running Team™, Nicole Prause, Ph.D., assistant professor of clinical psychology and sexual dysfunction researcher at Idaho State University, placed 3rd at the First Dam 5K in Logan, Utah on November 7th in 19:07, just missing her personal best of 19:01 set at sea-level.
“This was an excellent race for Nikky,” said her coach, Dr. Jason Karp of RunCoachJason.com. “Considering the altitude, this would have to be considered her best 5K ever.”
This was Nikky’s first race since placing 23rd at the Marin Memorial Day 10K on May 25 in Kentfield, California. She’s aiming for a sub 3-hour marathon in 2010.
